MARK WAHLBERG The Actor Begins Shooting ‘Transformers 4'

MARK WAHLBERG The Actor Begins Shooting ‘Transformers 4'

Mark Wahlberg is a busy guy!  The actor has one movie opening this weekend - 2 Guns with Denzel Washington, and has just reported to the set of Transformers 4 to begin shooting on that hit franchise.
Mark was spotted looking super good on the Detroit set today along with fellow stars Stanley Tucci, Nicola Peltz and Sophia Myles.  We told you late last year that director Michael Bay had recruited Walhberg for the 4th installment of the Transformers movie, and while I’m not sure what his role is he definitely looks like he means business:)
Can’t wait for this one!

OMG! Victoria and David Beckham party with P Diddy in Hollywood

OMG! Victoria and David Beckham party with P Diddy in Hollywood

Victoria and David Beckham joined P Diddy for an unlikely night out this week.

The couple were enjoying dinner at up-market eatery Nobu in West Hollywood when they ran into Diddy, 43.
The rapper, whose real name is Sean Combs, then asked Posh and Becks to join him at the Supper Club restaurant, where they chatted in a private room.
But Victoria, 39, and David, 38, didn't stay out too long.
David and Victoria have got to know Diddy really well,' a source tells The Sun.
‘They don't usually go for big nights out but they joined him at Supper Club for more than an hour before ducking out. They have young kids, so there are no such things as lie-ins.

Diddy was asking David about getting some exercise tips.'
The Beckhams seem to be having a great time in LA, where they used to live before they moved back to London earlier this year.
On Monday Victoria Tweeted a snap of herself posing in front of the Hollywood sign, writing: ‘So good to be back in LA,and hiking, who knew? X vb'.

Rehab Facility Says Lindsay Lohan Needs More Treatment: Judge Agree

Rehab Facility Says Lindsay Lohan Needs More Treatment: Judge Agrees

One day after leaving rehab, a judge says Lindsay Lohan needs to return to therapy – to avoid a relapse.
The troubled actress’ attorney provided the court with proof that Lohan completed her treatment at Cliffside Malibu, but during the hearing the judge received a letter from the facility’s CEO and founder. Cliffside Malibu staff recommended that Lohan continue to attend counseling sessions three times a week.
“If these sessions are not required by the court and attendance verified once a month to ensure accountability, it is a set up for almost certain failure,” the letter said.
The judge agreed, and ruled that the "Mean Girls" star can either attend the counseling sessions in person in Los Angeles or log in to them via Skype when she’s out of town.
The actress has until November 6, 2014 to complete both the therapy treatment, and the 30-day community labor portion of her sentence.

Justin Bieber Just Needs To Shirt Up, Says Kat Dennings

Justin Bieber Just Needs To Shirt Up, Says Kat Dennings

Kat Dennings may play one of 2 Broke Girls on TV, but in real life she’s richer than she’d like to be in shirtless photos of Justin Bieber

But she wanted to clear up her beliefs about the Biebs this week, explaining:

"Here's the deal. I said that about his Instagram because there's so many shirtless pictures, and I feel like he's too young to be posting shirtless pictures.”

It’s true that at 19, Justin is young, but we hope Kat will kut him some slack. At least going shirtless is a legal activity!

And JB could (allegedly) use more of those in his life these days. LOLz!!!

Justin Bieber CAUGHT Red-Handed (And Shirtless)! Beersby Biebsy!!

Justin Bieber CAUGHT Red-Handed (And Shirtless)! Beersby Biebsy!!

 BUSTED!!!
Well this is probably why Griffin Nightclub didn't wanna risk admitting the underage Justin Bieber Monday night.
Because letting underage peeps drink is a SERIOUS business boo-boo!!
A sneaky Twitter user has posted the photos (above) of the shirtless Biebs holding what clearly appears to be a beer… or a black cherry soda, LOLz! The photo was apparently taken at a NYC nightclub this week.
Could it have been Catch? Maybe! Maybe not.
We heard that's where Justin tried next after Griffin rejected him.
Just an FYI — the little prince is only 19. You need to be 21+ to sip!!

"I did not threaten Santoshi" - Firoz Nadiadwala

"I did not threaten Santoshi" - Firoz Nadiadwala

Producer Firoz Nadiadwala is aghast at the charges of death threats leveled at him by director Raj Kumar Santoshi who has filed a police case against Feroz and got himself round-the-clock police security claiming danger to his family's well being.

Firoz says during all these years in the film industry he has never threatened anybody. "I did speak to Raj Santoshi on July 11. He filed a complaint against me on July 22. If a man is threatened why would he wait 11 days to do something about it?"

Firoz says he has all the relevant paper-work to prove that Santoshi owes him a huge amount of money approximately Rs 16 crores. According to Firoz, the police complaint is an attempt to cover-up the financial irregularities.

Says Firoz, "He took Rs 5 crores from me to direct a film called Power with Bachchan Saab, Ajay Devgn and Sanjay Dutt in the cast. Then he took Rs 2 crores and 40 lakhs from me for another film titled Baba Jaan with Abhishek Bachchan in the lead. Then he also took Rs 65 lakhs from me for a film that he promised to make for me with Ranbir Kapoor in the lead."

Firoz further claims that when he went to sign the Big B for Power, the normally-reticent superstar refused to work with Santoshi claiming that Santoshi had refused to pay up Rs 1 crore of the Big B's pending fees from an earlier project.

Firoz claims he offered to pay the Big B the money owed to him by Santoshi. "As a producer I wanted a good film to be made with Bachchan Saab in it. I paid up the money that Kumar-that's what I call Santoshi-owed the Big B. It was only after I cleared up Santoshi's pending dues with the Big B, that Santoshi was allowed access into the Bachchans' household again. He then offered to make Baba Jaan with Abhishek for me. I met Abhishek, and he agreed. I gave Kumar Rs 2 crores 45 lakhs to make Baba Jaan. We agreed to hold the mahurat of Power in September 2010 and then start Baba Jaan in early 2011."

Firoz claims before the proposed mahurat for Power, Santoshi showed up at Firoz's office with a starlet from the South as the leading lady opposite Ajay Devgn. "I don't want to say anything derogatory about any lady. But this actress was not fit to be cast even as a supporting actress. I kept quiet in front of the lady. But the next day Santoshi flared up asking why I was cold to the actress. What was I supposed to do? I had to be courteous to the lady. But Santoshi was upset about this. When I asked him whether he had taken Ajay's consent about casting her, Santoshi started screaming at me claiming Ajay's consent was his look-out. This happened in front of eyewitnesses."

Firoz claims that at the mahurat of Power, Ajay saw his intended leading lady and recoiled. "Anil, Ajay and Sanju were on stage when the lady arrived. Ajay was very upset. After the mahurat, Sanju whom I am very close to warned me that Ajay was unhappy. When I asked Santoshi about Ajay's approval of the girl he laughed off my misgivings. A week later Ajay said he was no more interested in doing Power. The project fell through. Logically and ethically, Santoshi should have returned my money for Power and proceeded to make Baba Jaan with Abhishek. Instead Santoshi went to Abhishek with another project for another producer. Abhishek being from a cultured family refused to work on another project with Santoshi. Some days later Santoshi landed up at my home and created a ruckus, screaming and ranting at me. I requested him to calm down. Two days later he went to Filmistan to meet Ajay and Sanju while they were shooting for Rascals. Over there Santoshi created this entire drama about me threatening him. That drama has not ended for four years. According to Santoshi I've no work except to threaten him."

According to Firoz, Santoshi has been dodging the monetary issue. "Whenever I call him he says he's holidaying, or busy. He gives me a time for us to meet and then doesn't turn up."

Firoz says Santoshi is using the good offices of a senior government officer (name and designation withheld) to intimidate Firoz. "I'd say this officer is Santoshi's friend, philosopher and misguide. The two of them have worked out a modus operandi to make money. First Santoshi makes a fool of people like me and then uses the good offices of this officer to threaten film people into silence when they demand their money back. This is exactly what has happened with me. This officer came to me and suggested that I write off the Rs 5 crores that Santoshi owes me. As for the rest of money owed, this officer said, 'We will see what's to be done.' He also bragged about his contacts and demanded Rs 50 lakhs from me. Can you believe this? A senior government officer indulges in extortion!"

Despite the alleged threats Firoz refuses to write off the money. "Okay, Santoshi can claim some monetary compensation for some spadework he did for Power. He shot for 9 days for a 120-day shooting schedule. How can he claim Rs 5 crores for that? I declined to accept this officer's settlement plan."

On July 11, Firoz rang up Santoshi asking for a meeting. "Again Santoshi evaded a meeting. I told him I am not a corporate house that can write off crores as production deficit. Santoshi even told me that the money I had given to Mr. Bachchan was not to be part of Santoshi's liabilities. I told him to return my money or I'll ask my legal team to get into action. He suggested we meet after 4-5 days. I insisted we meet and offered to drive down to his home which is not even 5 minutes' distance from my home. I got into my car and drove to Santoshi's home. Before I could reach he called to say he wasn't home. I asked him what his intention were and why was he cheating me. I insisted on waiting below his home. However he persuaded me to return and I did. The next thing that happened is, on July 22-11 days after my attempts to meet him-he complained to the police that I had threatened him. He's telling everyone I threatened to kill him and his family. Yeh sab kya hai? Could he please show any phone call or letter that I had threatened him?"

On Thursday July 25 Santoshi registered a case against Firoz. Firoz has applied for anticipatory bail.

Getting worked up Firoz says, "I treated him like an elder brother. He cheated me. He claims I was going to trespass into his home and harm his family. Do I do such things? He thinks he can avoid paying me my Rs 16 crores by claiming I am threatening him. My old parents think their son is going to be arrested. My family is being put under so much stress just because I asked for my money? Is this fair?"

Zimbabwe election: Robert Mugabe faces Morgan Tsvangirai

Zimbabwe election: Robert Mugabe faces Morgan Tsvangirai

Zimbabweans are voting in fiercely contested presidential and parliamentary elections which have already been hit by fraud allegations.
President Robert Mugabe, 89, has said he will step down after 33 years in power if he and his Zanu-PF party lose.
Prime Minister Morgan Tsvangirai's Movement for Democratic Change (MDC) have accused Zanu-PF of doctoring the electoral roll, a charge it has denied.
Campaigning was mostly peaceful, with few reports of intimidation.
Zanu-PF and the MDC have shared an uneasy coalition government since 2009 under a deal brokered to end the deadly violence that erupted after a disputed presidential poll the previous year.

The BBC's Nomsa Maseko asks Robert Mugabe if he would step down if he lost
Mr Tsvangirai won the most votes in the first round, but pulled out of the run-off with Mr Mugabe because of attacks on his supporters.
'Determined to vote' The government has barred Western observers from monitoring Wednesday's elections, but the African Union (AU) and the Southern African Development Community (Sadc), as well as local organisations, have been accredited.
Polls opened at 07:00 local time (05:00 GMT) and are due to close at 17:00 GMT.
The turnout is expected to be high among the 6.4 million people registered to vote, with tens of thousands of people attending rallies in recent weeks. Results are expected within five days.

Zimbabweans wait to cast their votes in presidential and parliamentary elections in Harare, Wednesday 31 July 2013

Zimbabwe election: Key facts

  • About 6.4 million registered voters
  • Polls open at 05:00 GMT and close at 17:00 GMT
  • Vote for president and parliament
  • Zanu-PF's Robert Mugabe and MDC's Morgan Tsvangirai are the main presidential contenders
  • Mr Mugabe, 89, is seeking to extend his 33-year rule
  • Mr Tsvangirai, 61, hopes to become president after three failed attempts
  • The poll ends the fractious coalition between Zanu-PF and MDC, which was brokered by regional mediators after disputed elections in 2008 that were marred by violence

Wednesday has been declared a national holiday to ensure people can vote. Despite this, voters queued for several hours outside polling stations across the country before they opened, reports the BBC's Nomsa Maseko in Harare.
"I got up at four but still couldn't get the first position in the line," Clifford Chasakara, a voter in the western province of Manicaland, told the Reuters news agency.
"My fingers are numb, but I'm sure I can mark the ballot all the same. I'm determined to vote and have my vote counted."
At a news conference at State House on Tuesday, Mr Mugabe was asked if he and Zanu-PF would accept defeat.
"If you go into a process and join a competition where there are only two outcomes, win or lose, you can't be both. You either win or lose. If you lose, you must surrender," he said.
But Mr Tsvangirai dismissed the president's remarks.
"He does not believe in the right of the people to choose. He does not believe he can be voted out of office," he told the BBC.
The 61 year old has vowed to push Mr Mugabe into retirement; it is his third attempt to unseat him.
An MDC spokesman said separately that the party was only prepared to accept the results of the elections if they were "free and fair".
'Anomalies' On Tuesday, the MDC accused Zanu-PF of doctoring the roll of registered voters, which was released by the Zimbabwe Electoral Commission (ZEC) only on the eve of the polls after weeks of delay.
The MDC claimed the roll dated back to 1985 and was full of anomalies.

A supporters of the Movement for Democratic Change holds up a poster showing presidential candidate Morgan Tsvangirai at a rally in Harare on 29 July  Tens of thousands attended rallies in the run up to the elections

A BBC correspondent has seen the document and says it features the names of thousands of dead people. He says many names with the same address appear two or three times.
A Zanu-PF spokesman denied the allegations and pointed out that appointees from both parties were on the ZEC. He also accused Finance Minister Tendai Biti, a member of the MDC, of not funding the commission properly. The ZEC has not commented.
In addition to Mr Mugabe and Mr Tsvangirai, there are three other candidates standing for the presidency - Welshman Ncube, leader of the breakaway MDC-Mutambara; Dumiso Dabengwa of the Zimbabwe African People's Union (Zapu), and Kisinoti Munodei Mukwazhe, who represents the small Zimbabwe Development Party (ZDP).
To be declared a winner, a presidential candidate must win more than 50% of the vote. If no candidate reaches this mark, a run-off will be held on 11 September.
The elections will be the first to be held under the new constitution approved in a referendum in March this year
